BRING LUNCH TO WORK – This is what I have always done. It’s healthier and you don’t waste money everyday! I would do sandwiches or salad, with chips on the side. Bringing snacks will curb the vending machine appetite! My husband is terrible at this, despite me trying to make sure he has enough!

REUSABLE SANDWICH BAGS – I am so happy I bought these! I use them all the time and barely need sandwich baggies! Worth the investment.

BRING A STRAW – If you are a straw person, why not give the stainless steel straws a go? I don’t care for them, so I don’t need them. The only problem I need to resolve is trying to catch the waitress fast enough so she doesn’t put straws on my table! Once that is done, they have to throw it away regardless if I use it or not. So frustrating!

TRASH – No matter where I go, I do my best to manage my trash. I try not to leave trash in the car. Some people do and it just builds up! Or if there is food left in the car, it could attract mice as my husband had to learn! Haha!

WATERBOTTLES – We’ve heard it time and time again. Bring water bottles instead of buying bottled water. It definitely saves money and you always have water on hand! I bought a while ago, two gallon stainless steel water bottles haha. It’s nice for a long day away from home, but there is no place to put it in the car except the floor. I hold them with my feet so they don’t thrash around everywhere! I recently finally got a smaller one to put in the cup holder. (Also, when I lived with my sister, she had a ton of plastic and stainless bottles! Why so many? It’s nice only having a few to worry about. She finally got rid of most of them!)

BRINGING UTENSILS/NAPKINS – So when I worked in an office, there would be mini parties with cake or even food. I saw the waste that came with it. I wanted to bring my own utensils and cloth napkins, but never remembered to. But it is definitely a good idea! Every little bit helps!
