Drawings

I saw a plant at my work and drew a quick sketch of it. Then I decided, “I’m going to paint it!” I thought it turned out pretty well! The background was difficult…maybe there didn’t need to be one? Just a shadow of the pot/plant?

My husband was like, “Draw us as a family!” He thinks I am thinking too much, but I wanted a theme…I realized, my kids love the count down to “blast off!” I used a rocket ship to blast off out into space. It works perfectly because we like the truth of science and the wonders…

I saw a video of this pose and wanted to draw it. Then I thought, I shall draw one of my favorite anime couples!

This is what I drew of my husband and I for the third Christmas I made cards, as this is my other favorite holiday theme. I am a sucker for romance stories haha.

This is one of my favorite songs of the Christmas season. I had begun drawing holiday cards to my family and friends. So I was very happy to draw this out for everyone!

My husband was my first official boyfriend, and for this drawing I was in the honeymoon phase of our dating life.

Was thinking of characters for my first story, so this is what I tried out. (It’s been modified but it is still pretty!)

For my high school graduation, I found an outfit that made me feel confident! A white stiff but fully-pleated-like skirt, with a red fitted raunchy-side polo tee shirt. It’s that silhouette I love: fit-and-flared. So I drew it! I also love drawing cat ears and tail, because I relate to cats.

Drew this around 2007. I had a story brewing in my mind then and I was determined to keep this character idea on the left. I find him very handsome! I am working on the story now finally! It’s so cool to see it come into “fruition.”
