I love what my sister-in-law likes to say, “You Do You.”

I know a lot of people wear make-up and that is perfectly fine! I personally never did it. I only put on make-up if I had to dress up for a dance or a wedding. I am also scared that if I do a complete glow-up, I have to keep up with it! I’m too lazy haha. My mother is the same way! But my sister needs it. Her face is so white people often ask her if she is sick when she is not!

Growing up, my mind was busy with my imagination. I didn’t have time to worry and fuss over my face, even when I went through puberty and got pimples!

I save a lot of money probably, on not buying perfume and make-up.

This is what I have and use for those special occasions:

– Eye Shadow and Mascara

– Lipstick

– Sometimes do nails with clear or pink colors

– I used to have hand-me-down perfume, but my husband is sensitive to strong perfumes, so I don’t use any anymore. I did use essential oils on my wrist in the past, maybe I can try that again?

– One thing I didn’t know until I met my sister-in-law was: using baby powder or corn starch between your legs or anywhere on your body where you could sweat! It keeps you dry! Who knew?

– Lotion? I only use it if my hands are dry. But if they start cracking, bag balm helps so it doesn’t sting!

Other than this list, I keep lip balm in my bags. I was using Burts Bees for a while, but they were expensive. A friend got me ECOS and I LOVE it! Very creamy! I am not sure if either can be recycled? Because that is more plastic adding to the fire. Is there a recipe for a creamy lip balm? I’ll have to look into that!
